We went door to door earlier this week, and Emily (my 3rd grader) sells at cookie booths at the grocery store, Lowes and other retailers. Scouting has really increased her confidence. Her troop does great activities, for the community and for us a family. The troop has partnered with the IN Patriot Guard to send cookies to the troops. Half of our troop profits will go toward shipping costs- and our girls will actually work side by side in the Spring, with the Patriot Guard members to package the cookies for our soldiers. Below is a picture from last year. Emily's personal goal is 1500 this year, and Hope's is 350. We're on our way! If you'd like to donate to the troops, let me know. It is also a tax write-off for companies and individuals.
