Indianapolis Fourth of July events kick off the month with a bang

The Fourth of July and all the festivities that go with it kick off the month of July in Indy. But after the last firework display fizzles out, you’ll find a variety of festivals and events to keep the summer fun going all month long. Zionsville Sunday Concert Series: July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29Microphone

Thousands of bicycle enthusiasts will descend upon Monument Circle in celebration of the 8th annual IU Health Indy Criterium Bicycle Festival. This family-friendly festival is a fun way to enjoy bicycling in the heart of the city while watching world-class amateur and professional bicycle racing. Other activities include a free Kids Zone, food and drink, a vendor village and free community bike rides. All proceeds benefit Freewheelin’ Community Bikes, a local non-profit committed to enhancing life skills for community youth through bicycles. Details >>

St. George Middle Eastern Festival: July 20-22

Where else can you ride a camel in Indiana?! In addition to camel rides all three days of the festival, enjoy authentic Middle Eastern food, such as roast lamb, chicken kabob, tabouli, hummus and baklawa; beer and wine; a marketplace; live entertainment; and fun and games for the kids.
