Homes in Whitestown's Anson neighborhood.
Located about 20 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis, Whitestown has been ranked Indiana’s fastest growing town for several years running. In fact, Whitestown’s population nearly doubled between 2010 and 2015, and currently totals more than 6,000 residents. Low taxes, proximity to I-65, and access to two excellent school systems make Whitestown very attractive, and many enjoy the wide, open spaces and small town living.
While Whitestown has a small downtown core that dates to the 1850s, most of Whitestown’s housing is quite new—due to the population growth over the last several years—and organized into subdivisions. Anson, a master-planned 1,700-acre community located within Whitestown, combines residential, commercial and civic buildings with parks, trails and greenspace.
Depending on where you choose to live in Whitestown, your children will attend either Lebanon Community Schools or Zionsville Community Schools, both of which are highly ranked within the state.

Whitestown Brew Fest—The annual Whitestown Brew Fest features about 40 Indiana breweries and showcases hundreds of craft beer releases every year, making it one of the largest craft beer festivals in Central Indiana. An Indiana home brew competition with tastings and voting makes things even more fun! 6210 Veterans Dr., Whitetown
LA Café—LA Café is a little hole-in-the-wall known for both its motorcycle-themed décor and upscale menu. (Who knew those two things could go together?) Locals rave about the oysters-on-a-half-shell, ahi tuna, steaks and Sunday brunch (complete with omelet station). For dessert, we love the crème brulée! 4 S. Main St., Whitestown
