Zionsville Village

Zionsville's Village.

Located 17 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis, affluent Zionsville is nestled around a brick-paved historic village replete with colorful Victorian cottages and locally owned shops. With a population of about 14,000, Zionsville offers a variety of housing stock, from starter homes and condos beginning in the $200,000s to multimillion dollar estates. Outside of the Village, most houses are found in planned subdivisions, which provide a plethora of newer single-family homes and plenty of amenities, such as community pools, greenspaces and walking trails. Horse farms and rural properties can also be found in Zionsville.

For a town its size, Zionsville has a large number of parks and nature preserves that provide access to a variety of outdoor activities, including kayaking, canoeing, biking and nature watching. The 3.5 mile Zionsville Big-4 Rail Trail is extremely popular too for walking, biking and dog walking. Zionsville prides itself on its tight-knit, family-friendly community and its excellent public schools, which rank among the best in the state.
